The Harvest

Luke 10:2

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into the harvest.

With everything going on in the world this year, sometimes it is easy to forget who we are, why we are here, and what God wants us to do. This verse puts everything into perspective. It should remind us of what God has done for each of us. It should challenge us to make sure His agenda is our only agenda. It should cause us to focus on the message He has given all of us to proclaim — the message of the gospel. Regardless of a global pandemic, regardless of political upheaval and corruption, regardless of violence and chaos, there is still a harvest. Regardless of our individual opinions and feelings and regardless of who agrees or disagrees with us, the laborers are still few. What am I going to do about it? What are you going to do about it? Consider this…
