Your Maker You’ll Meet

Hebrews 9:27-28

Christ sacrificially offered Himself up for us on the cross of Calvary to pay our sin debt once and for all. Thankfully, all we have to do to receive salvation is put our faith and trust in Him. As children of God, we are now looking for His return. For those who refuse to accept Christ as their Savior, there is a judgment day coming. We all have an appointed time to die and when we do, we must meet our Creator.

Disclaimer: These lyrics are a combination of bluegrass music, Westerns, and Bible study. I hope you enjoy them but if you don’t, please stay away from bluegrass and Westerns. I encourage everyone to study their Bible as much as possible.

Some people drink, and others just whine
But they all got excuses, for wasting their time
Wondering what happened, and where it went wrong
Cause one day you wake up, and most of it’s gone
Then you start to question how much time you have left
And the future it scares you, so you retrace your steps
Hoping to find a small sliver of peace
Cause deep down inside you know: your Maker you’ll meet

So you better listen to that voice way down deep
Inside, reminding you, your Maker you’ll meet
You stay awake and cannot get sleep
Cause judgment is coming and your Maker you’ll meet

Some people party and have a good time
But that laughter is a mask they’re wearing to hide
A chilling fear coming from where they don’t know
Cause it seems like He’s watching and He already knows
Is that preacher for real or is he telling a lie?
Do you wish you could remember those Sunday School times?
You’re gambling with life but this you can’t cheat
Cause deep down inside you know: your Maker you’ll meet

So you better listen to that voice way down deep
Inside, reminding you, your Maker you’ll meet
You stay awake and cannot get sleep
Cause judgment is coming and your Maker you’ll meet
