Every Chorus Sings Your Name

Psalm 45:1

The reality of the Christian life is simple. It is all Jesus. No matter what we discuss, teach, preach, write, or sing; the topic should always come back to the goodness of our Savior. Without Him we are nothing and because of Him we can experience everything that we have in our lives. As we endeavor to live our lives as walking, talking testimonies of praise, every chorus should sing His name.

So many topics and themes; my future, my past, my hopes and dreams
But when I write it’s always the same, every chorus sings your name
With this pen I open my heart so people can see every part
But when I write it’s always the same, every chorus sings your name

Redeemer, Savior, Holy Lamb, God of Glory, Great I AM
Alpha, Omega, Beginning, End, Jesus, LORD, the sinner’s Friend
My Rock, my Shield, my Shelter and Guide, My Strong Tower where I run and hide
LORD GOD Jehovah, Emmanuel, You conquered the grave, death and hell
The Word, the Truth, God’s only Son, the altogether lovely One
Prince of Peace, my soon coming King, for You I’ll live, to You I’ll sing
You took all my sin and my shame, so every chorus sings your name

I want to point them all to You and give them hope, light, and truth
So when I write it’s always the same, every chorus sings your name
To You, my Jesus, this voice I’ll raise, for You are worthy of all my praise
You took all my sin and my shame, so every chorus sings your name

To You, my Jesus, this voice I’ll raise, for You are worthy of all my praise
You took all my sin and my shame, so every chorus sings Your name
