I’ve Never Been Disappointed With Jesus

Deuteronomy 31:8

Over and over again, each of us have been disappointed in our fellow man. Family, friends, and those in positions of leadership have failed us and let us down. It is to be expected when we think about it. We are all frail and pitiful creatures bound to disappoint. I am so glad that God has never failed us and Jesus is always there. I’ve disappointed a lot of people and I’ve been disappointed by others many times in my life but there is one thing I can say for sure, “I’ve never been disappointed with Jesus!!!”

I’ve been disappointed I’ve been let down
I’ve been neglected and I’ve been left out
But when I’m at my lowest and I don’t know what to do
I remember all He has done and it carries me through

I’ve never been disappointed with Jesus
He’s always been there on Him I can depend
He’s proven to be faithful time and again
And I’ve never ever been disappointed with Him

I’ve made mistakes and they’ve been talked about
I’ve been forsaken my friends have walked out
But when I feel so lonely that I don’t know what to do
I remember all He has done and it carries me through

He’s always been there on Him I can depend
He’s proven to be faithful time and again
And I’ve never ever been disappointed with Him
